About The Danvers Y Dolfins Program
Bridge Programs
The Bridge program is meant to be a stepping stone for swimmers as the make the transition from swim lessons to swim team. Most people shy away from swimming because they do not really know what competitive swimming and swim team are actually all about. Our Bridge programs are the perfect next step for swimmers who are ready to go beyond lessons and begin building the foundation for competitive swimming. We have two Bridge programs. Bridge for children 5-10 years old and Senior Bridge for children ages 11-14. Bridge focuses on refining freestyle and backstroke technique while introducing advanced skills such as flip turns, starts, and begins the development of butterfly and breaststroke.
